My experience with the Mighty Bright XtraFlex2 contrasts with many of the other reviewers. I received mine today and inserted new batteries and the unit would not work. I opened the case and the batteries and the connector springs were extremely hot. I hope you have better luck. I will return mine. This is another of those items made in China and somehow, I am not surprised.

I bought this light to use with my kindle, I love it. Have to watch the way it goes on, cause it will spotlight like another reviewer said. But if you tilt it right you are ok using it. I am buying another for my father.

I needed a light for reading my Sony eReader Pocket Edition at night before retiring and couldn’t find one bright enough. This certainly does the trick. It clips on the eReader cover snugly without slipping and doesn’t make an indentation. The flexible arm is amazing and it provides a powerful light for such a little item. For anyone trying to find a light for their Sony e-Reader, this is the one for you. Believe me – I’ve tried quite a few before finding this little gem. It is fantastic!

I have purchased other book lights before that have been cumbersome or dim. This nifty little light is excellent. It is light weight and bright. It manuevers well and you can place it where you need it. When my husband saw how handy it was, he wanted me to purchase one for him. The best book light I have found!!

I purchased this for my 11 year old grandson who is an avid reader. This was to replace his flashlight in bed. He’s thrilled with the light, as is his mother. It’s a great gift item.
It’s bright, easy to use and attractive.
