Only reason I dont give it 5 stars is becuase all the ink or printing on it rubbed off the first day.

Otherwise the thing rocks my world! Opens everything with Ease. I cut of peoples toes with it with out any problem. I want to try fingers next but think I will wait.

I was amazed by this product and the genius behind it. I am sure it is fantastic. However, it is an everyday item at Home Depot and they sell it for $9. 99 I found out a little too late, but figured I could help out people shopping for it. Check your Home Depot first before you buy it here and pay for shipping as well!

The Zibra worked fine to start with — not the easiest tool to use, since it’s akin to using garden shears to open a box, but adequate. Then the flimsy plastic piece that allowed you to keep it closed broke. That made it difficult to impossible to use the razor or screwdriver because they’re awkward to use when it’s scissored open. Now the blades have gotten too much play in them and it doesn’t even cut packages well — I think the plastic casing is just too flimsy. It’s an ordeal trying to saw it through each package. I just ordered a new cutter from a different brand — I’ll see if that works better.

Cheaply made and poor quality. Defective. Opening an ordinary plastic wrapped package, the handles opening too far, and the blades would no longer cut in scissor style. Disassembled and got it working again, at least for the moment, but that should not be necessary. Avoid this product.

after a little use, the blades have too much play and make it difficult to cut anything. the “lock” that closes the handles will also stop working at about this same time. . . and then “pop” you have an open pair of blades in your toolbox, which is never safe. Pick up a pair of Aviation Snips. . . they will open those packages with ease in no time flat and they will last you a lifetime
